Late Night Fix

After a bit of rattling it was time to change the Throw Out Bearing on Mitch's car. After Battling to get the box out (engine has been raised, so the box wouldn't slide out without hitting the Firewall), late afternoon turned to night.
In case you are not familiar with the SR20/RB20/CA18 Manual Transmission, the Throw Out Bearing is pressed onto a Carrier that moves along an Alloy Snout which shrouds the Input Shaft. Basically, this shit is meant to be attached:Not chilling with the input shaft at 8000 RPM.

Regardless, I found a replacement in the shop and we had it back in and running that night.
