All before the 1st

Been a bit of a rush leading up to the 1st of September (Morning Session). Yesterday we pulled Mitch's box out once again to change another Input Shaft Snout. I was also working on the Drift car getting it ready for the Morning sesh, seeing as my daily is defected.

Basically, fingers crossed, Mitch's car should have Clutch Master/Slave issues sorted by Wednesday, and the Shop car should have Alignment done on Monday, and generally stay together in one piece for Wednesday. That is if we can get a Car Trailer and Car to Tow everything. Picture tiem:

Lack of decent steerers. We are waiting on more parts from our container on the 6th.
We really don't care.

ch ch ch changes

The Silvia is pretty much back to stock now. Still have to put the wing back one, fit tyres to the stock wheels and buy new registration plates etc.

Things should be a bit more exciting on here in the next few weeks. Mitch's gearbox needs fixing before the 1st of September (Queensland Raceway Morning Session). I will be attending Morning Session and we will be taking the drift car out at some stage soon for a shake down run.

Here are some photos of the Silvia at it's lowest before removing all the aftermarket stuff.

FTDOT

So I was going to lunch on Monday when I accidentally passed a DOT ute coming from a tow yard. He didn't like my shit.

Fine 1: Driving a defective vehicle $100.00 AUD and 1 Demerit Point.
Fine 2: Not getting aftermarket front seat Mod Plated. $300.00
Notice: To apear at Main DOT facility to have whole car inspected.

So my S13 is getting returned to stock, unsure if I will keep it after that.

To get a Fixed Back seat Mod plated they need to approve the rail/seatbelt mount, it has to be an ADR recognised seat (no BRIDE), then they will probably want me to replace seatbelt with a harness. A combination of the Fixed back and or the Harness means I will have to convert to 2 Seater. Which means I will have to remove back Seat and have the old back seat belt holes welded up.

It is a never ending story.

Cry me a river etc.

Tomfoolery

I <3 my bash plate haha

Update Time

Ok so some things have happened.
I sold the Juniper Green S13 on Sunday so it is one less thing to worry about. After taking the TEIN HE's out of the front of my S13 and replacing them with CUSCOs from the drift car, my ride height has gotten to an almost acceptable point. Still havent washed it since QR.

Day Drift

Wish I had the balls and areas like the guys at Risky Devil have got!

In other news, I have finally got some new tyres for the front. They are by a brand called 'Goodride' China specials! They are better than what I was running and I dont really wanna ruin a set of decent tyres while I experiment with suspension setups.
Oh and I took my front TEIN HE's out to do the seals. Making plans for next morning sesh we will hopefully have all of Team Fancy Hedge there!

Friday - Morning Session

So I finally got to a Morning Drift Session at Queensland Raceway. So much better than Archerfield! I ended up rubbing through the loom on the drivers side and blowing some fuses, but other than that it was a great day.
The CA18DE went fine, obviously lackin in power, but did a lot better than I thought!

It was so foggy in the morning that they had closed Brisbane Airport, which made for a really eery feeling. Here is a link to some photos from the day.
